The Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Communication and Empowerment at the Authority for Persons with Disability inaugurated the “Mobile Exhibition for Cybersecurity Awareness,” in the presence of the General Director of the General Administration of Cybersecurity Awareness at the National Cybersecurity Authority, Engineer Hamoud Al-Hamoud, along with a number of officials and staff members from the Authority for Persons with Disability. The “Mobile Exhibition for Cybersecurity Awareness,” organized by the Authority for Persons with Disability in cooperation with the National Cybersecurity Authority, aims to strengthen the values of protecting national security, raise awareness of cybersecurity, and build a high level of cyber culture among personnel. It also seeks to help reduce emerging cyber risks, in addition to achieving joint integration among national entities in the field of cybersecurity. The exhibition features five diverse pavilions to enrich the experience of the Authority’s personnel. These pavilions will cover cybersecurity concepts and their importance at the national level, highlight the key behaviors that contribute to protection from cyber risks through a set of interactive methods, and present a range of modern tools and techniques that help enhance cyber protection. It will also provide live simulations of the most prominent cyberattacks targeting individuals and organizations, and offer cybersecurity consultations and guidance on best practices in the workplace to mitigate the risks faced in cyberspace. This mobile cybersecurity awareness exhibition comes as part of a package of awareness programs implemented by the National Cybersecurity Authority at the national level, within a participatory framework with national entities. The objective is to raise cybersecurity awareness, reinforce the values of protecting national security, and support the efforts made by these entities in cyber awareness to strengthen cybersecurity in the Kingdom.
