The Authority for the Care of Persons with Disabilities has launched the awareness campaign “Say It Right”, in conjunction with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of using the correct terminology when referring to persons with disabilities, and to promote a culture of awareness and inclusion in public and media discourse toward persons with disabilities.
This campaign comes as a continuation of national efforts to strengthen the values of inclusivity and to empower persons with disabilities in all aspects of life, in line with the Royal Directive No. (266) dated 27/05/1439 AH, which approved the official term “persons with disabilities” for use in official and media communications.
